Patrik Antonius and Johnny Lodden Defrauded by the same hacker

The buzz now over in 2 plus 2 is that Patrik Antonius, one of the world’s top online poker professionals, was defrauded by a hacker during a high stakes poker game. This accused hacker took over 500 thousand dollars from him. As was reported on Poker Page’s Journal – Finnish Magazine – this subversive hacker would sit down at the virtual tables and complete with the hottest, richest poker players available. He would invite them to enter a private chat that was then used to download a computer trojan to display the cards to himself. Then the hacker’s victims, including Antonius, lost millions of euros.
Antonius is quoted in the article as saying that he figured the man could see his cards, so he stopped playing the game when he was down 500 thousand to him. Johnny Lodden, is reported as being subject to the same deception from the same hacker. Both found evidence of the trojan on their computers, unfortunately for Lodden, a significant portion of the euro millions stolen through the tables.
As the thread continues, the battles between the alleged hacker and Lodden were obviously off. Observers were able to tell the games were fixed as this hacker was always choosing to take the pot, while Lodden would play aggressively every hand.
Most people who are victims of this hacker seem to have identified the problem such as Antonius did, and stopped play. The unfortunate fact for Jonny Lodden is that it was only in retrospect that he arrived at the same conclusion. The tread points to a player who has not played in quite a while, known as fast_freddie. As was brought out in the thread and the article, it has been a couple of years since the events above. To the knowledge of those involved and the magazine that has researched the history; nothing has come of the cheating and hacking.
